Ayurveda Curious?
Try a supported Digestive Reset for one week.

Then, see what happens?
Ayurveda, the ancient science of life from Northern India, offers daily and seasonal practices meant to support our whole selves through natural changes and cycles. The time of day, the time of year and the time of your life all matter. Tuning in to the ways we are part of the cycles, the seasons, the diversity that is Life, we find ways of living more ease-fully in the present.
Curious? Fall brings an important Ritucharya practice called a digestive reset. You eat three simple and nourishing meals, called Kitchari, for a period of 3-7 days. People, myself included, report feeling more grounded, energized and calmer during and afterwards. Many experience an abatement of troublesome digestive issues and seasonal allergies.

with Soil and Soul.
Grounded in ancient tools,
modern life and the living land.

Hello! Melissa MacKinnon, here in support of lifestyles and ways of being that foster more connection, beauty and joy in our daily and seasonal living. My offerings draw from the ancient sciences of Ayurveda and Yoga as well as herbalism. I have been a certified Yoga instructor for over 30 years now, an herbalist for over 20 years and an Ayurvedic Health Counselor for 2 years. I spent the last 10 years rooted in the living land in upstate New York, USA, creating community urban farms with vegetable gardens, apothecary gardens, chickens, bees and people! Discovering Yoga's sister science of Ayurveda brought my work of the past thirty years together for me and I share this through my business, Living in Season. I offer one on one consults, workshops and weekly Ayurveda inspired Yoga classes. I understand this work as a remembering of ways of moving from routine to ritual, grounded in soil and soul. I would be honored to work with you
